Scratch: For our "Lost In Space" theme, in Computer Science we were assigned to do a scratch, either and animation or a game, based on our survival role and scenario that we were given in Regina's class to show how we survive throughout our journey. Scratch is a programming language and an online community where you can create and program games, stories, and more. I was given the role of the Plane Crash to Chile. In our Scratch we had to have at least: 5 sprites (one of them being yourself and another the artifact you make in Regina’s), 3 backgrounds, 5 sound clips, user input (the user using computer keys or using user motion from the webcam). Since my scenario was the plane crash to Chile,my final chosen idea for my scratch was a plane that crashes and then the player has to go through mazes in order for me to get my needs that I need to do in order to survive. My artifact that I made in Regina's class which was a friendship bracelet helps me survive. I decided to do an animation and a game in which the player has to help me survive my scenario.
Twine: A project that we were assigned to do in all three classes was called the "Be Heard Project". We had to choose a social justice topic that means to us and so in Computer Science we had to talk about it using Twine and Gliffy. Twine is where you can talk about a text or a story that has many options. You can also use codes in it to change the font, background color, add an image, and more. Since my social justice issue was on Human Rights, I decided to add facts about it and write a story about it in the end. You can use a twine file so that others can upload your file and see your twine.
HTML: HTML is basically the coding that I used in twine for each of my passage. I used it to change the font of my text, add images, change the color of my background, and more in my Twine.
Gliffy: Before Twine we were assigned to use Gliffy. Gliffy is basically where you can create diferent branching systems that you use to talk about something and have many options that lead with it. The branching system that I decided to use was a time cave and a time cave is basically where there are a lot of choices and many endings. The reason why I chose it to help me out with my social justice issue which was on Human Rights because it helps me spread out my message with many options that will inform the reader more about Human Rights.
Pie Brainstorm: In Computer Science I had to do a "I Am" Project and what I had to do was to write down all the things that makes me,me and then place it in a pie chart.
Who You Are On Instagram Profile: Another project we had to do was I had to take all the things that make me, me and create an instagram profile. I had to post pictures and include in my bio about the things that makes me, me.
Google Sheets: In Google Sheets I learned how to perform all types of functions for example: adding cells, subtracting cells, how to use relative and absolute formulas, and more. In the button below are the types of functions/ operations that I was told to do in a deliverable.
How To Lie With Statistics: In How To Lie With Statistic I learned about what types of statistics I would use for my TedTalk and which types of graphs to use. For example such as trucating graphs and using pictographs. In the Button below are the statistics that I am going to use for my TedTalk.
